design concept
The overarching design concept is a literal interpretation of the album Flowers The design will feature "Stage flowers" made of a black steel pipe as a stem and Strike P38, a compact warm white par can that splay of in directions as petals with a small compact coloured led beam wash on top as the bud of the flower.
The show could open with a similar intro to the 'You - Prelude" lots of smoke, dark blue and Aqua marine wash, crisp white pushing through as backlighting slowly building up, with the symbol crashes accented in warm par can lights. Then drop into a big lead single. For the stage plan we can do traditional drums centre on a 600mm riser than 3 in front, bass stage left and lead guitar stage right and vocals centre.
colour palette
The show to be bright and poppy with rich ambers, pinks, pastel blues and corals with contrast in the lower more progressive songs with dark blues and crisp whites.
DEEP RED - known to be highly stimulating and can increase heart rate and respiration. It grabs attention and demands focus, making it effective for creating a sense of urgency or importance. It can evoke a feeling of energy, vitality, and excitement. CORAL - warm and inviting quality, similar to a tropical sunset or a blooming flower. It can create a cozy and comforting atmosphere, evoking feelings of warmth and relaxation. YELLOW - Incorporating a soft and cheerful yellow, reminiscent of a sun-kissed field of flowers. This colour adds warmth, optimism, and a touch of nostalgia to the palette, reflecting the band's uplifting melodies and lyrics. BABY PINK - This colour represents the sweet and vibrant energy of the song. It's a warm, soft pink that symbolises joy, playfulness, and the essence of a summer daydream. VIOLET - Include a delicate shade of purple to introduce a hint of mystique and magic. This colour represents creativity, spirituality, and the ethereal nature of daydreaming. SEA BLUE - Use a light and airy shade of blue to evoke the feeling of a clear sky on a sunny day. This colour creates a sense of tranquillity, freedom, and open spaces, aligning with the dreamlike quality of the song.
