Boogie; while this festival is only small and offered to an even smaller number of patrons each year it holds more charm and magic then any other major events in the years calender. It’s held on a stunning part farm, part footy oval, part club house site in the hills of Tallarook, a destination 100km north of Melbourne on the VLine.
The festival itself feels more like a house party then an event, patrons feel more like friends of friends then strangers and the vibe permeates through all that is boogie. From the authentic boogie bucks that look more like pirate coins then drink tokens which are valid for the fine boogie brew, world class food options and dope swag. The hillybilly disco stage that sees only the finest tunes spun to the wee hours of the morning, the cold nights are heated by multiple community fires that burn all night long hosting conversations of good marbo and fresh ideas to the soundtrack of sweet blues guitar and humble singalongs. Boogie can only be labled as a gathering of friends rather a festival and anyone wishing to be apart of it should heed it’s one rule. NO DICKHEADS. |
